The gallery presents a series of “encounters” I witnessed in Iran The encounters are represented by couples of similar images which do not only feature people but also typical elements of the landscape: walls, donkeys, trees, roads, clouds, mountains, lakes, bushes. The encounters usually bring together isolated presences in sweeping expanses dominated by silence. Many of these photos have been shown in exhibitions and published in books.
