The images in this gallery are dedicated to the sousaphones (musical instruments of the family) of the Quito band (Ecuador) portrayed during a ceremony held on July 26, 2013 in Piazza Grande, in Quito, in front of the monument of the heroes of Ecuadorian independence. The series of images begins with realistic representations and then offers more abstract shots in which the shapes of the bells of the instruments and the reflections on them dominate.
