This gallery presents statues of the Tuileries Gardens in two different contexts In the first context they are brushed by flying pigeons and have postures characterized mostly by despairing features. In the second context they share the frame with the enigmatic presence of the Luxor obelisk. The two sequences are linked by a transitional image containing all the elements: a statue, a pigeon and the obelisk.
